Andy Lally to Drive for Our Motorsports at Daytona Road Course

Our Motorsports welcomes back road course veteran Andy Lally to its lineup of drivers to pilot the team’s newly formed, second full-time entry in the 2021 NASCAR Xfinity Series season.  Lally will pilot the No. 03 Camaro in February’s road course event at Daytona International Speedway.

The Northport, NY native partnered with Our Motorsports in 2020 for two races as substitute for full time driver Brett Moffitt as Moffitt attended to Truck Series driving duties.  Lally would wheel the No. 02 Camaro to back-to-back top-five finishes at Road America and the Daytona Road Course, tying his career best.

Lally returns to Daytona this year in the No. 03 Camaro with the support of 2020 partner PCL Construction along with UCC Group, Inc., International Flooring, Inc. and Energy Air Inc.

“After back-to-back top-five finishes last year, I can’t tell you how excited I am to have another opportunity with Chris Our and the Our Motorsports crew,” said Lally.  “Daytona will be one of the first times I’ve ever gone back to the same track with the same team where we can build on the prior race’s experience and set up. We had a very good car there last year and we will work to make it a great car this year! I work hard at every one of these opportunities and do not take them for granted. I want to say a huge thank you to Chris Our, PCL Construction, UCC, IFI and Energy Air for their support.”

The Daytona Road Course is not unfamiliar grounds for Lally; he is currently in Daytona preparing for his 19th Rolex 24 at DAYTONA where he has five victories to his credit.

Team owner Chris Our is anxious to get the season started.  “We want to come out of the gate strong to start the season,” said Our.  “With (Brett) Moffitt in the 02 and (Tyler) Reddick and Lally kicking off the season in the 03, we’re in a good position to make a statement in Daytona.”

Additional race dates for Lally along with sponsorship announcements will follow at a later date.
