For the second consecutive week, Ty Dillon will drive in place of Brett Moffitt in the No. 02 Our Motorsports Chevrolet.
Moffitt, who ranks 22nd in the NASCAR Xfinity Series championship standings, will be in attendance for the Go Bowling 250 at Richmond Raceway. But in a tweet, Moffitt said he felt ill while en route to Darlington Raceway last Saturday, forcing him to miss the race. His doctors want him to sit another event.
Richmond will be Dillon’s eighth Xfinity Series start of the season. In his three prior races with Our Motorsports, he’s earned a pair of top-10 finishes, including a fifth-place effort at Atlanta Motor Speedway. Last week, he placed 13th in the No. 02 car.
