NASCAR fans didn’t need headless horsemen, zombies, or the children of the night for scares on Sunday in Martinsville. There were plenty of high blood pressure-inducing moments during the caution-heavy Xfinity 500 race. Denny Hamlin, especially, may have future nightmares about a monster machine breathing down his neck, with, of all things, the name of a bank emblazoned on its chest. Ally Bank also turned up in a few ads during the race, but not to scare anyone; nor did any of the other sponsors.
