In a media availability on Tuesday (February 8), Kyle Busch stated he won’t compete in any Xfinity Series races during the 2022 season.
Driving for Kyle Busch Motorsports, Busch will make his first Camping World Truck Series start at Las Vegas Motor Speedway in early March.
Busch won all five of his Xfinity Series starts in 2021, putting him at 102 career victories in 362 starts (28.2% win percentage). For years, the 2009 series champion said he would stop competing in the series once he reached 100 wins.
Kyle just confirmed this. No Xfinity this season. Said his first Truck race is Vegas. https://t.co/MjmCLfYx4C

Kyle Busch says his first truck race will be Vegas but other races are TBD. He does not have any Xfinity races planned (but I do wonder — if a potential Cup sponsor wants to test the waters with Xfinity, would that be a reason to do it or would it just fire up hate)?
