FedEx is close to signing a contract extension with Joe Gibbs Racing to remain a primary partner of the organization, according to Sports Business Journal.
Since 2005, FedEx has had a presence in sponsoring one of JGR’s entries. It has been tied to Denny Hamlin since he began racing for the team and most years had upward of 30 primary races as a sponsor on the No. 11 car. This year, it’s been on board for seven of 14 races.
