Greg Biffle hoping to run in Xfinity Series race at Portland in 2024

2002 Xfinity Series campion and 19-time Cup Series winner Greg Biffle is eyeing a return to the Xfinity Series in 2024 at Portland International Raceway, he said in a press conference over the weekend at Sonoma Raceway.

Biffle is from Vancouver, WA, a stone’s throw away from PIR. The Xfinity Series has ran the last two seasons at the 12-turn road course, with Cole Custer winning at the track earlier this month.

“It sneaks up on me I guess, because I know it was announced a few years ago and as it got closer, these things take a lot of time to put together a program to go do that. I feel like I’m probably going to start working on a program for next year to try to run that race.”

Biffle last competed in an Xfinity race in 2010 and has 20 career wins in 244 starts.
