Jordan Anderson to drive in Xfinity race at Daytona; Larry McReynolds will crew chief

For the first time since his fiery crash at Talladega Superspeedway last fall, Jordan Anderson will return to the driver’s seat in the Xfinity Series at Daytona International Speedway on Friday, Aug. 25.

Anderson’s father-in-law Larry McReynolds will be the crew chief for the team’s third entry at Daytona. In April of 2022, McReynolds guided Jeffrey Earnhardt to a runner-up finish at Talladega, in a one-off start for Richard Childress Racing.

This will be Anderson’s first start in the Xfinity Series since 2021, when he competed in six races for his race team.
