Colby Howard, CR7 Motorsports parting ways for 2024

Colby Howard will not return to CR7 Motorsports in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series in 2024, Howard confirmed to Frontstretch Nov. 3 at Phoenix Raceway.

Howard has piloted the No. 9 in the series for the team full time in 2023.

“I won’t be back with CR7,” Howard told Frontstretch. “We are working on some options, they’re [CR7] working on some options. I’ve got some great guys around me. … Hopefully, we can get ourselves a good partnership for 2024.”

Howard scored his best finish of fourth in the season opener at Daytona International Speedway.
