2025 Daytona 500 date announced

Daytona International Speedway announced today that next year’s DAYTONA 500 will be held on Feb. 16, 2025. The official date was revealed during the DAYTONA 500 Champion’s Celebration and Lunch with Hendrick Motorsports by Frank Kelleher, Daytona International Speedway President and 2024 DAYTONA 500 champion William Byron.

“Announcing the official date of the 2025 DAYTONA 500 today while honoring William Byron’s monumental victory last week was very special,” said Daytona International Speedway President Frank Kelleher. “Our loyal fans saw the drivers put on quite the show, and they were on the edge of their seats the entire race. I know that passion and love for the DAYTONA 500 will carry over next year into the 67th running of The Great American Race.”

DIS and Hendrick Motorsports celebrated William Byron’s DAYTONA 500 victory at the Axalta Customer Experience Center in Concord, NC today. Attendees included Frank Kelleher, President, Daytona International Speedway, William Byron, Driver, No. 24 Axalta Chevrolet, Rudy Fugle, Crew Chief, No. 24 Axalta Chevrolet, Rick Hendrick, Owner, Hendrick Motorsports, and Jeff Gordon, Vice Chairman, Hendrick Motorsports. William Byron is also the first Charlotte native ever to win the DAYTONA 500.

Fans are encouraged to sign up for exclusive pre-sale access to the 2025 DAYTONA 500 by logging onto DAYTONA500.com and completing the pre-sale registration form. To receive priority access to seats, camping, and other experiences, fans may place a $25 deposit to jump the line and receive an early purchase link.

NASCAR will also be back at Daytona International Speedway one more time in 2024, for the Coke Zero Sugar 400 weekend on Aug. 23-24, with tickets still available.

Drivers in the NASCAR Xfinity Series will tackle the 2.5-mile trioval once again in the Wawa 250 powered by Coca-Cola on Friday, Aug. 23. Then, on Saturday Aug. 24, the NASCAR Cup Series returns to DAYTONA during the Coke Zero Sugar 400. Tickets may be purchased for the Coke Zero Sugar 400 race weekend at daytonainternationalspeedway.com.
