Tony Palmer, an engineer on the Team Penske No. 12 team of Ryan Blaney will serve as crew chief this weekend for the GEICO 500 NASCAR Cup Series race at Talladega Superspeedway.
Blaney’s crew chief, Jonathan Hassler, is not at the track. He wife gave birth to a daughter earlier this week.
