Richard Childress Racing is very disappointed in NASCAR’s penalty against the No. 3 team. We do not agree with the decision that was made and plan to appeal.

ORIGINAL POST: NASCAR has issued penalties following the race weekend at Richmond Raceway.
#3-Austin Dillon’s win will stand, but it will not count towards the playoffs in either driver or owner standings. He and the team have also been docked 25 points and his spotted was suspended for the next three races.
#22-Joey Logano has also been fined $50,000 for his actions on pit road following the race.
