Sam Hunt Racing (SHR) announces today that Ryan Truex will pilot the No. 24 GR Supra in the NASCAR Xfinity Series (NXS) season kickoff at Daytona International Speedway in partnership with BB Printing Co..
Truex scored his first NXS win at Dover Motor Speedway in April 2023, and he successfully tamed the Monster Mile again a year later to claim his second career win. Ryan Truex competed with Sam Hunt Racing at Daytona International Speedway in 2022, securing an 11th-place finish. He also competed at Homestead-Miami Speedway in the No. 26 GR Supra in 2024. As Daytona’s most recent NXS winner, he’s geared up to take the reigns of an SHR GR Supra once again.
“Sam and I have known each other for a long time. We’ve become great friends outside of the garage area, and I’m thankful to have the opportunity to work together on the track too,” said Ryan Truex. “I’m thankful that our friendship has grown into a business relationship and for the opportunity to race under the SHR banner with BB Printing at Daytona.”
BB Printing, a renowned printing and business branding solutions company based in Hendersonville, Tennessee, is excited to introduce BB Auto Club to NASCAR. BB Auto Club is an exclusive division focused on premium automotive branding and protection services.
“This partnership with Ryan and Sam Hunt Racing is the perfect balance of our company’s passion for design and our enthusiasm for motorsports,” said BB Printing Marketing Executive, Amber Kerby. “We believe this partnership represents more than just a race —t is an opportunity for us to make our mark in the motorsport industry, Ryan and the SHR team are the exact kind of people we wanted to partner with for this project.”
Sam Hunt Racing has been competing in the NASCAR Xfinity Series since its debut in 2019, and each season, the team’s performance has consistently strengthened. 2024 was a breakout season for the young team, bringing its strongest on-track performance yet. The team looks to continue that growth in the 2025 season with the addition of Truex and several other to-be-announced drivers, which will allow the No. 24 Toyota GR Supra to have an expanded schedule this year. Brian Gainey will lead the effort as crew chief for this team. Gainey has seen much success at fellow Toyota organization Joe Gibbs Racing, most recently serving as the car chief on the No. 20 NASCAR Xfinity team that won nine races, two of which were won by Truex, and qualified to run for the owner’s championship in Phoenix last fall.
“It’s always great to have Ryan in our GR Supra, an experienced proven winner in the series and someone that genuinely cares about the success and growth of our team,” said Sam Hunt. “As the defending Daytona winner, he will serve to be a valuable resource and teammate for Dean in 2025 as well. We’re grateful to have BB Printing supporting the effort and look forward to hitting the track and getting the season started.”
As a growing team Sam Hunt Racing’s strength on all track types continues to grow. At superspeedway tracks, SHR has displayed growth in qualifying efforts, ability to manage and maneuver through the pack, and finishing positions at Superspeedways.
The 2025 season will kick off at Daytona International Speedway on February 15th at 5:00 PM ET. All NASCAR Xfinity Series races will be broadcast on the CW Network and SiriusXM NASCAR Channel 90.
