Will Rodgers will be taking the wheel of the #70 ref-ology/Sipeos Chevrolet on the twists and turns of Sonoma Raceway during the NASCAR Xfinity Series Pit Boss/FoodMaxx 250 race this Saturday, July 12 at 4:30 PM PDT on The CW.
Ref-ology, founded by Shelley Russi, focuses on helping referees master the inner game so they can serve the outer game with practice, presence and reflection.
“With communication being a key component to the success of referees, partnering with Will, who is both a NASCAR Driver and Spotter, knows the importance of being clear when making critical decisions in real-time that impact others,” Russi said.
Their non-profit arm, Blast Equality Collab (BEQ), raises funds to deliver real-time leadership practice through sports.
“Referees influence millions of lives annually through their work, yet many leave the profession early due to unfavorable sports climates,” Russi said. “Will Rodgers embodies the self-awareness and integrity we teach to future sports leaders in the referee space—we’re proud to have him drive this message forward.”
