For the first time since the conclusion of the 2023 season, Daniel Hemric will return to Kaulig Racing’s Xfinity Series program this weekend at World Wide Technology Raceway at Gateway.
In a pair of Xfinity campaigns with the race team, Hemric tallied nine top-five and 32 top-10 finishes in 66 races. The North Carolina native spent the 2024 season with Kaulig at the Cup Series level, placing 29th in the championship standings.
Hemric is the 2021 Xfinity Series champion, nudging Austin Cindric out of the groove on the final lap at Phoenix Raceway, scoring his lone victory in 186 starts. He sits third on the playoff grid in the Craftsman Truck Series through one race with McAnally-Hilgemann Racing, with a 33-point buffer over the elimination line.
