Sheila Gwendolyn Elliott, 74, of Dawsonville passed away Tuesday, October 7, 2025 at her residence.
Born August 22, 1951 to the late Herbert and Bobbie Goswick, she was a lifelong resident of Dawson County. Sheila was co-owner of Ernie Elliott, Inc. She was very dedicated to her family and enjoyed traveling, music, and cooking. Also preceding her in death was a son, Casey Elliott.
Surviving are her husband of 55 years, Ernie Elliott, Dawsonville; children, Julie and Matthew Hamby, Wilson, WY, Nicki Elliott and Brad Davis, Dawsonville; sister, Linda G. Townley, Dawsonville; grandchildren, Chris and Brianna Hamby, Emma Hamby, Devin Knight, Elizabeth Knight, Sarah Knight; and a number of other relatives.
Graveside services will be held Friday, October 10, 2025 at 11 o’clock at Sawnee View Gardens.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 3 until 8 at the funeral home.
