Update: Recent announcements were made regarding the termination of the SPS planned NASCAR O’Reilly’s Auto Parts Series program participation. While SPS’s participation in this program was halted effective January 28th, 2026, SPS will continue to support the smooth and effective transition of this competition program in full cooperation with AM Racing.
Owner, Joe Farré stated; “We are proud of the work that we did in assembling an incredible team of people, resources and technical partners, and we are confident in the integrity of that plan and the people involved. We are working closely with the AM racing leadership group to support the smooth transition of these operations, and we are confident in their ability to deliver the quality and integrity of the plan and to deliver the results that this team of partners deserves.”
According to Joe Farré, SPS racing will continue its focus on its ARCA and late model programs, and will relocate to their new facilities in North Carolina, shortly.

Original Post: AM Racing will return to the O’Reilly Auto Parts Series in 2026 for the full season after its transaction to Sigma Performance Services was never finalized, the team announced on Friday morning.
“In November of 2025, an acquisition of AM Racing was announced,” the team statement read. “While the transaction ultimately was not finalized, AM Racing will move forward independently and remain committed to competition in the NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series.
“The organization will build upon its existing foundation for the upcoming season, with driver and team announcements forthcoming.”
AM Racing made the 2025 Playoffs with Harrison Burton as its full-time driver. Burton departed the company for Sam Hunt Racing.
