Jusan Hamilton named president of Alpha Prime Racing

Alpha Prime Racing today announced the appointment of Jusan Hamilton as President, effective immediately.

In his role, Hamilton will oversee Alpha Prime Racings strategic direction, operational performance, and organizational development, with a focus on building scalable systems, strengthening leadership culture, and positioning the team for sustained growth.

Hamilton joins Alpha Prime Racing following more than a decade in senior leadership roles at NASCAR, where he led large-scale operations, managed complex stakeholder environments, and oversaw nationally and internationally executed programs. His background includes executive-level operational leadership, cross-functional team management, contract negotiations, and governance across high-visibility sporting platforms.

Alpha Prime Racing represents an opportunity to build not just compete, said Hamilton. After more than a decade leading operations at scale, I wanted to apply that experience directly within a team environment where leadership decisions translate immediately into performance, culture, and growth. This role allows me to do that.

Tommy Joe Martins has served as Alpha Prime Racings leader for its entire seven year existence in the NASCAR OReilly Auto Parts Series – including formerly operating as Martins Motorsports with Tommy Joe as full-time Owner/Driver. Martins said Hamiltons approach will serve the team well through the change.

Jusan has a great understanding of this sport, from top to bottom, said Tommy Joe Martins, Co-Owner of Alpha Prime Racing. His experience, mindset, and humility made this decision for me. Hes the right person to take our team to the next level.

Hamilton emphasized that his early focus will be on listening, alignment, and execution.

My priority is building clarity around roles, expectations, and objectives and creating an environment where people can perform at their best. Strong teams are built intentionally, and that work starts immediately.
