Chase Elliott among three cars failing pre-race inspection twice at 2026 Goodyear 400

Pre-race inspection is complete in the NASCAR Cup Series garage at Darlington Raceway.

  • No. 9-Chase Elliott failed inspection twice. Car chief Matt Barndt has been ejected, and the team will lose pit selection for this weekend
  • No. 17- Chris Buescher failed inspection twice. Car chief Josh Sisco has been ejected, and the team will lose pit selection for this weekend
  • No. 66-Timmy Hill failed inspection twice.  Car chief Dylan Roberts has been ejected, and the team will lose pit selection for this weekend
