According to Adam Stern of Sports Business Journal, Sunday’s Food City 500 at Bristol Motor Speedway on FS1 averaged a 1.09 rating with 1.945 million viewers.
That’s a 3% increase in rating, but a 5% drop in total viewership compared to the same race last year.
It’s also worth noting the race went head-to-head with the final round of The Masters, which drew roughly 12–13 million viewers and peaked near 20 million on CBS. It was the most-watched golf telecast in seven years.
