ControlAltProtect renews sponsorship of Mason Maggio in multiple races

DGM Racing and Mason Maggio announce the return of ControlAltProtect as they continue their primary sponsorship in the NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series (NOAPS) with the young driver from Palm Beach Gardens, FL. To celebrate a second year partnering with Maggio, ControlAltProtect is kicking off the partnership at the famous Talladega Superspeedway on April 25 at 4:00 p.m. ET. ControlAltProtect will also adorn DGM Racing’s Chevrolet at Echo Park Speedway in July and the fall race at Talladega Superspeedway.

A leader in cutting-edge cybersecurity consultancy, the partnership between Maggio and ControlAltProtect centers on a shared mission to educate the racing community on the importance of obtaining and maintaining a robust cybersecurity system. By leveraging NASCAR’s platform, ControlAltProtect aims to bring its suite of consultancy services, including threat intelligence, incident response, and proactive defense, to a broader audience of business leaders and fans alike. At its core, both NASCAR and cybersecurity are engineering disciplines where the margin for error is zero.

“In racing, a split-second vulnerability can cost you the checkered flag, and in the digital world, it can cost you your entire business,” said Brent Panell, CEO of ControlAltProtect. “Partnering with Mason Maggio for a second year allows us to showcase the true synergy between our worlds. We are both in the business of precision, rapid response, and unwavering protection.”

As Maggio returns to the site of his first start with DGM Racing, he hopes to better his 22nd-place finish from the fall race at Talladega Superspeedway in 2025.

Maggio shared his enthusiasm for the ongoing collaboration, “We’re thrilled to have ControlAltProtect back with us for multiple races this year. They were a great partner last year and love racing as a sport and as an avenue to spread awareness of the importance of cybersecurity!”
