Post-race inspection complete, Denny Hamlin’s Michigan win is official

Post-race inspection is complete following the 2026 FireKeepers Casino 400 at Michigan International Speedway.

There were no issues for  #11-Denny Hamlin. He is officially the winner of the race.

The cars of #1-Ross Chastain, #5-Kyle Larson, #22-Joey Logano, and #23-Bubba Wallace are returning to the R&D Center for engine dyno.

Hamlin won the pole Saturday but had to start the race in the rear after unapproved adjustment. He worked himself back into the top 10 before getting some damage in an accident on lap 83. He suffered only minor damage and continued to work his way through the field. He took the lead with 38 laps remaining and pulled away to win by more than 11 seconds.

The Cup Series now heads to Pocono Raceway.
