Joe Gibbs Racing announced Tuesday that Christopher Bell suffered a fractured left wrist in an accident during Sunday’s NASCAR Cup Series race at Michigan International Speedway.
Bell was involved in an accident on Lap 148 and was evaluated and released from the infield care center. After returning to North Carolina, X-rays confirmed the fracture.
Despite the injury, Bell has been medically cleared to compete and will drive the No. 20 Rheem Toyota this weekend at Pocono Raceway.
