Daytona International Speedway’s famed oval will return to its role as the host for NASCAR’s season-opening exhibition race next season after a six-year hiatus, multiple industry sources confirmed to The Athletic.
The Clash will unfold on Daytona’s oval for the first time since 2020, and will be at the famed facility for the first time since 2021, when it was held on Daytona’s road course. The race is slated to be held on Saturday, Feb. 13 – the day before Super Bowl LXI and a week before the already announced Daytona 500 on Feb. 21.
