On November 11, the Proud to Honor Veterans Day Classic will come to Daytona International Speedway.

Ford, in collaboration with NASCAR, Blue Star Families, IMSA (International Motor Sports Association) and HSR (Historic Sportscar Racing), is bringing together motorsports, music and a shared mission of military support for one unforgettable night, all in support of our service members, veterans and their families. In partnership with Ford Philanthropy, our six military nonprofit partners distributed 1,000 complimentary tickets to eligible military and veteran families within their organizations. It’s a first-of-its-kind military tribute race, with a headlining performance from the Zac Brown Band.

And there’s truly no better place to stage it than DAYTONA. The track has been at the center of American racing since it opened in 1959 as the “World Center of Racing,” hosting its first DAYTONA 500 that February in a race so close it was decided by a photo finish. Nearly seven decades later, it’s still one of the biggest stages in the sport, kicking off the NASCAR season every year. Racing there on Veterans Day, with teams racing in honor of every branch of the military, puts this race and concert at a track with the history and scale to match the mission.

We first shared the news with Zac Brown earlier this summer aboard the USS Midway. With the location locked in, here’s what you need to know.

TICKETS:

Tickets are on sale at fordveteransdayclassic.com. General admission for early bird tickets starts at $110, with a VIP Experience available at $305.  Veterans and Active-Duty Military will receive 20% off through GovX with a verified military ID. Given the importance of this event’s mission, Ticketmaster is waiving fees for everyone.

THE DRIVERS:

Six teams, each honoring a branch of the U.S. Armed Forces, will compete in one night of fierce, friendly competition. Drivers will race head-to-head in Mustang® Dark Horse™ Rs, creating a unique experience for motorsports fans.

Come see some of the biggest names in Ford Racing lining up for this race: Joey Logano, Brad Keselowski, Logan Sargeant, Noah Gragson, Frankie Muniz, Ben Hobson, and more! We’ve got even more drivers to announce soon.

THE MUSIC:

Music brings people together, and this night is about celebrating the communities our service members and their families lean on.

For more than a decade, Zac Brown has been a steadfast supporter of America’s service members, veterans, and military families, through performances for troops and his work with Camp Southern Ground. We’re so excited that Zac Brown Band is headlining, and we’ve got more artists to share in the coming weeks.

SUPPORTING MILITARY AND VETERAN FAMILIES:

This event is about more than a race and a concert — it’s a night built for our military and veteran families, and for the incredible nonprofits that support them, no matter where in the world they’re serving.

That’s why ahead of Veterans Day, Ford is proud to launch the Proud to Honor Fund, powered by GlobalGiving. Every dollar donated will go directly to organizations supporting military members, veterans and their families:

  • Blue Star Families
  • Camp Southern Ground
  • Disabled American Veterans
  • TAPS, The Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors
  • Team Rubicon
  • Travis Manion Foundation

A portion of ticket proceeds will also benefit Blue Star Families.

We know that amid the realities of deployment, what matters most isn’t just lasting support, but also moments of connection, community, and joy with the people who understand the journey. The Proud to Honor Veterans Day Classic is designed to give our military and veteran families an experience they will remember long after the checkered flag flies.

In partnership with Ford Philanthropy, our six military nonprofit partners distributed 1,000 complimentary tickets to eligible military and veteran families within their organizations. Last week, Zac Brown shared a personal video message inviting these members to enter for a chance to join us.
