The Hendrick Motorsports driver took the lead off pit road following his final pit stop with 97 of 400 race laps remaining, held off the field on two more race restarts and earned his second victory of the year in Sunday’s Drydene 400 NASCAR Cup Series race at Dover (Del.) International Speedway. #48-Alex Bowman won the Drydene 400 NASCAR Cup Series race at Dover International Speedway. The win is his 2nd win of the year, 1st win at Dover and 4th career win.
#5-Larson finished 2nd followed by #9-Elliott, #24-Byron, #22-Logano, #4-Harvick, #11-Hamlin, #8-Reddick, #99-Suarez, and #41-Custer.
Larson dominated the race early on, winning both stages and leading 263 laps.  However, Bowman’s  crew gave him the lead under pit stops with 96 laps remaining and he never gave it back up.
