#22-Joey Logano won the Season Finale 500 NASCAR Cup Series race at Phoenix Raceway to capture his second NASCAR Cup Series Championship. The win is his 4th win of the year, 3rd at Phoenix Raceway and 31st career win.
#12-Blaney finished 2nd followed by #1-Chastain, #4-Briscoe, #4-Harvick, #24-Byron, #18-Busch, #11-Hamlin, #5-Larson, and #20-Bell.
Logano started from the pole and dominated much of the race, leading 187 of the 312 laps. He took the lead from Briscoe with 29 laps remaining and held off Blaney for a win of .3 seconds.
#9-Elliott spun into the inside wall on lap 200 after contact with #1-Chastain. He was not competitive after that and finished 28th, 2 laps down.
Stage 1 was won by #22-Logano. Stage 2 was won by #12-Blaney.
There were 11 lead changes among 6 drivers and 6 cautions for 39 yellow flag laps.
