NASCAR pioneer car owner W.C. "Junie" Donlavey, 73, underwent heart-related surgery Monday in Richmond, Va., for an aortic valve replacement. Donlavey, bothered for a long time by the defective heart valve, said he considered the operation "preventive maintenance."
