#99-Ben Rhodes started from the pole and won the BrakeBest Brake Pads 159 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race on Daytona International Speedway’s road course Friday night in triple overtime. With back-to-back wins to start the season, Rhodes now has five career wins. He is only the third driver in series history to score wins in the first two races. He also tallied Toyota its 200th series win.
#2-Sheldon Creed finished second, followed by #4-John Hunter Nemechek, #38-Todd Gilliland, #17-Riley Herbst, #88-Matt Crafton, #19-Derek Kraus, #02-Kaz Grala, #56-Timmy Hill, and #98-Christian Eckes.
#4-Nemechek won Stage 1. Stage 2 was won by #24-Raphael Lessard.
There were nine lead changes among six drivers and 10 cautions for 20 yellow flag laps.
The average speed of the race was: 67.044mph.
