#4-John Hunter Nemechek made a last lap pass and won the Kansas Lottery 200 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race at Kansas Speedway. The win is his first at Kansas, his second of the season, and the 13th of his career. Nemechek made the pass over #42-Carson Hocevar, who appeared to be on his way to his first career win after a pit strategy call put him into the lead on lap 106 of the 134-lap race. After falling short of the win, Hocevar, along with past champion #88-Matt Crafton, failed to advance to the Round of 8 in the Playoffs.
#17-Ryan Preece, #38-Zane Smith, #23-Grant Enfinger, #18-Chandler Smith, #51-Corey Heim, #66-Ty Majeski, #91-Colby Howard, and #98-Christian Eckes were the remainder of the top-10.
The Round of 8 Playoff drivers include: #4-Nemechek, #38-Smith, #23-Enfinger, #18-Smith, #66-Majeski, #98-Eckes, reigning champion, #99-Ben Rhodes, who finished 13th, and #52-Stewart Friesen, who finished 20th.
Nemechek won the pole and both of the opening stages en route to his race win. He led a total of 88 laps.
There were 11 lead changes among six drivers and four cautions for 25 yellow flag laps.
The average speed of the race was: 118.023mph.
