Corey Heim grabs overtime NASCAR Truck Series victory at Gateway: Pole winner Corey Heim lost the lead on Lap 18 of Saturday’s Toyota 200 at World Wide Technology Raceway at Gateway.He didn’t regain it until the first lap of overtime, when frontrunner Christian Eckes spun his tires on a restart on Lap 164. But that was enough for Heim to score his second NASCAR Camping World Truck Series victory of the season in a part-time role in the No. 51 Kyle Busch Motorsports Toyota.(Read More)(6-4-2022)

#51-Corey Heim won the Toyota 200 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race at World Wide Technology Raceway following an overtime restart. The win is first at Gateway, second of the year, and the second of his career.
#98-Christian Eckes finished second. He led at the time of the restart. The two lined up side by side, and Heim got the position. The yellow flag waved on the last lap after a wreck involving #42-Carson Hocevar, #5-Tyler Hill, and #22-Austin Wayne Self. The race ended under caution.
#18-Chandler Smith, #52-Stewart Friesen, #13-Johnny Sauter, #25-Matt DiBenedetto, #19-Derek Kraus, #99-Ben Rhodes, #38-Zane Smith, and #61-Chase Purdy closed out the top-10.
Stage 1 was won by #18-Chandler Smith.
Stage 2 was won by #99-Ben Rhodes.
There were 11 lead changes among nine drivers and 11 cautions for 54 yellow flag laps.
The average speed of the race was: 86.397 mph.

Corey Heim won the 9th Annual Toyota 200, his second victory in nine Camping World Truck Series races. Heim is also the winner of the first Triple Truck Challenge race of the year. The next race is at Nashville Superspeedway on June 24.
