#11-Corey Heim won the inaugural LiUNA 150 NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series race at Lime Rock Park on Saturday. The win was his fifth of the season, first at Lime Rock, and the 16th of his career.
Heim started from the pole and dominated the race unchallenged until the final restart of the race on lap 96. #34-Layne Riggs poked his nose in front of Heim and took the lead temporarily, going down as the only other driver to lead a lap during the 100-lap race.
Shortly thereafter, Riggs locked it up and fell in the running order. His issue sparked a chain of events that sent numerous trucks off course and spinning. #98-Ty Majeski moved into the second position after the shuffle, but remainder over one second behind and had nothing for Heim in the closing laps.
#17-Gio Ruggiero was third, followed by #99-Ben Rhodes, #66-Cam Waters, #38-Chandler Smith, #44-Josh Bilicki, #1-Brent Crews, #19-Daniel Hemric and #18-Tyler Ankrum in the top-10.
There were two lead changes among two drivers and three cautions for 13 yellow flag laps.
The average speed of the race was: 71.651mph.
