In a thrilling battle with his JR Motorsports teammate, #8-Josh Berry won the Xfinity Series race at Charlotte Motor Speedway. The win is his second of the season and first at Charlotte. JR Motorsports has won four of the past five races on the season.
#54-Ty Gibbs finished second, more than 18 seconds behind the race leader. Pole sitter #1-Sam Mayer placed third, with #9-Noah Gragson and #5-Ryan Preece rounding out the top five.
#11-Daniel Hemric finished sixth, the final car on the lead lap. #7-Justin Allgaier finished seventh after pitting late in the race for a flat right rear tire. #2-Sheldon Creed, #18-Trevor Bayne and #31-Myatt Snider filled out the top 10.
Berry and Allgaier won the opening two stages, making it five straight races that JR Motorsports has won the opening two stages of the race.
There were 12 lead changes among five drivers and eight cautions for 44 yellow flag laps.
The average speed of the race was 117.557 mph.
