Ty Gibbs Spins and Wins at Charlotte: Not bad for a part-timer. Ty Gibbs won his second NASCAR Xfinity Series victory in the sixth start of his career, recovering from a spin off Turn 4 to take the checkered flag in Saturday’s Alsco Uniforms 300 at Charlotte Motor Speedway.(Read More)(5-29-2021)

After spinning to end the second stage, #54-Ty Gibbs rebounded to win the Alsco Uniforms 300 at Charlotte Motor Speedway. It’s Gibbs’ second win of the season, and now has five top-five finishes in six starts this season.
#22-Austin Cindric finished second, with #20-Harrison Burton, #68-Brandon Brown and #31-Tyler Reddick rounding out the top five. #99-Chase Briscoe, #23-Ty Dillon, #19-Brandon Jones, #10-Jeb Burton and #51-Jeremy Clements fill out the rest of the top 10.
#18-Daniel Hemric led a race-high 105 laps en route to sweeping the first two stages. However, Hemric was caught up in a multi-car incident on a rest with 14 laps remaining, collecting Jones, #9-Noah Gragson, #11-Justin Haley and #1-Michael Annett.
There were 12 lead changes among seven drivers and 10 cautions for 51 yellow flag laps.
The average speed of the race was 112.535 mph.

With a speed of 183.986 mph, #98-Riley Herbst won the pole for Saturday’s Alsco Uniforms 300 at Charlotte Motor Speedway. It is his first pole award of his career (though second time bringing the field to the green flag).
Making his first Xfinity start of the season, #99-Chase Briscoe will start second. #18-Daniel Hemric, #22-Austin Cindric and #16-AJ Allmendinger round out the top five. #51-Jeremy Clements, #2-Myatt Snider, #54-Ty Gibbs, #10-Jeb Burton and #23-Ty Dillon make up the top 10.
