Here is what I hear about the Hendrick chassis: Actually all three Hendrick teams have their own versions of the new generation chassis. Each team gets a slightly different version of their base chassis with the only real differences being the seat mounting and location of the steering box. They have to move the steering box a little just for packaging due to the positions each driver likes the steering wheel. Other than that the chassis are the same. I hear the new chassis will not be run on the big tracks just yet in favor of a more proven speedway design(7-7-97)
