I hear from the JournalNow that many of the other teams did not like the way NASCAR handled the #98’s illegal carburetor mounting studs, like why it took so long to announce(3 days) and feels NASCAR isn’t telling the whole story. NASCAR says they wanted time to examine the device before saying anything. In this lawyer driven world, I can’t say I blame them for checking it out completely(7-12-97)
