Joe Gibbs’ son, JD Gibbs, a rookie on the BGN series tested Tuesday at Darlington. The younger Gibbs tested two cars at Darlington and plans to run in the Diamond Hill Plywood 200 on 3/21/98. Gibbs’ ran a speed of 155.374mph, the track record is 166.337mph. Gibbs says he plans to run eight to 10 races this year.(WRAL)(3-3-98)
