Tyler Jet Motorsports officials confirmed today that Darrell Waltrip will be returning as the driver of the #17 car beginning with the Brickyard 400. The agreement that was signed last Friday puts Waltrip back behind the wheel of the #17 car through the end of the 1999 season. The team is actively searching for sponsorship for those remaining 14 races of ’98 as well as all of 1999 for DW’s expected Retirement Tour.(5-11-98)
