Geoffrey had been entered but opted to concentrate on his Cup ride. The Bodine’s are looking to run a full season if sponsorship can be found(NASCAR Online)(2-8-1999) – Geoffrey Bodine said it was car owner Dennis Shoemaker’s plan to run a full season in the NASCAR Busch Series with his #64 Chevrolets – and that he hoped it would be with some combination of himself and son Barry, who is driving the car at Daytona. However, the entire program hinges to a degree on sponsorship, which Geoffrey Bodine said he hoped was close to coming together. For the NAPA Auto Parts 300, the Miccosukee Indian Gaming package Bodine put together for last year’s Jiffy Lube Miami 300 at the Miami-Dade Homestead Motorsports Complex is in place for the two Florida races – but that’s it, Bodine said(NASCAR Online).
