Travis Carter, co-owner of the #66 Fords of Darrell Waltrip(an owner of the #23), said Thursday veteran NASCAR mechanic Mark Tudor has left Waltrip’s team to pursue another job in the Winston Cup series. Derrick Finley has joined the team as team engineer and will work with new crew chief Philippe Lopez. Work continues on the team’s new headquarters in Statesville.
