UPDATE 2 yes: hearing from many sources that Rich Bickle and Tyler Jet Motorsports have decided to part ways after the Darlington Southern 500. I hear BGN driver, Jeff Purvis will drive the #45 10-10-345 Pontiac for the rest of the year. Rumored replacements for 2000 are Johnny Benson or Ted Musgrave — UPDATE: Rich Bickle may be the next driver working the job market. Less a month after agreeing to a new driving contract with car owner Tim Beverly, Bickle will apparently be out of the ride this week, according to sources. If Beverly opts for a driver change, Johnny Benson could be his pick, according to sources. Might such a change be made before the end of the season? Roush, who owns the cars Benson drives, did make a driver change during the middle of last season, putting Kevin Lepage in Ted Musgrave’s car. James Ince, Beverly’s crew chief, came over from the Roush team earlier this season( PitNow ). Jayski Note: Source tells me Bickle has left the team, mutual decision and lack of chemistry – UPDATE 2: it is official, Rich Bickle will no longer drive the #45 car, no driver named yet( Tyler Jet Site/PR ). May be more changes on the way, stay tuned
