Tonight on RPM 2Night, John Kernan had this to say about the Ray Evernham leaving the #24 RUMOR: “Ray Everham says there are no plans for his immediate departure from Hendrick Motorsports. Evernham also says there are no plans for any immediate changes within the #24 team. I spoke with Ray a couple of hours before he left for Dover on Thursday afternoon and he says there is no friction at all between him, Rick Hendrick, and Jeff Gordon. He says they are giving each other their full and 100% support. Evernham says, ‘we don’t have a direction yet as far as my future is concerned with Hendrick Motorsports, we are still discussing that.’ He also says that the truth is not nearly as good as what the media is making up.
