from a source – According to Nashville Sports Weekly (a local freebie newspaper), Adam Petty may run the CTS next year. ?????The Petty camp was so impressed with Adam’s performance in the race (Richmond), that early this week, Richard and Kyle Petty met with executives of Sprint to discuss the possibility of moving Adam to the truck series for 2000. And it seems Sprint execs are more than interested.???? The article says that Jimmy Hensley was told his contract wasn’t being renewed because of ?????a family commitment????. ?????Adam would be guaranteed a provisional for every race because of the #43 and the fields in the truck series are much easier to make?????And with Greg Biffle and Jack Sprague being the only notable names in the truck series, Adam’s visibility should be much greater.
