Several Cup teams had unapproved parts confiscated by NASCAR in recent days. The most common parts taken were springs, which were taken from the cars of #55-Kenny Wallace, #31-Mike Skinner, #41-Rick Mast (two), #4-Bobby Hamilton (two), #27-Jeff Fuller, #42-Kenny Irwin and #32-Scott Pruett. Unapproved tethers were taken from the car of #7-Michael Waltrip and an unapproved jacking bolt from the car of #48-Stanton Barrett. Also, unapproved parts were taken from the airboxes of the #60-Geoffrey Bodine and #65-Dan Pardus(That’s Racin’), no fines mentioned(2-16-2000)
