A new book, The Driving Force, explores the aspect of faith and religious belief among some top NASCAR drivers. Written by veteran motorsports journalist Mike Hembree of Spartanburg, S.C., the book includes chapters on such high-profile drivers as Jeff Gordon, Darrell Waltrip, Dale Jarrett, Kyle Petty and Dale Earnhardt. The forward is written by Joe Gibbs, former NFL coaching great who now fields two of the top teams in NASCAR. Gibbs says his personal faith and convictions help guide his every decision(Tennessean).
