Larry Nuber was found deceased in his home in Indianapolis by the local police department, who had been called in by relatives concerned because they had not heard from him in several days. His body will be taken to his parents’ home in Toledo, Ohio, where services will be arranged. Who is Nuber? If you watch any of the early 1980’s ESPN race broadcast’s, Nuber was one of the announcers during the early days of NASCAR racing and TV. Recently, Nuber managed the Wynn’s Racing Program throughout the past several years(Irwindale Speedway)(6-10-2000) UPDATE: Nuber passed away of a cerebral hemorrhage/stroke while working at his computer(6-11-2000) UPDATE 2 – Services: Veteran broadcaster and publicist Larry Nuber, 51, who passed away last week in his Indianapolis home, apparently suffered an aneurysm. His body was transported to his parents’ hometown of Toledo, Ohio, where he will be interred. The funeral is Saturday, June 17 at 2:00 p.m. at Faith Community United Church of Christ in Toledo (1201 S. Byrne Street, 419-385-3747).
