hearing that Robby Gordon is pretty much a lock for the #66 BigKmart/Route 66 Travis Carter ride in 2001, replacing Darrell Waltrip, who is retiring at the end of the 2000 season(8-18-2000) UPDATE: Travis Carter, owner of the #23 and #66 Fords, has talked to Andy Houston about coming to his team for 2001. Houston tested the #66 car a couple of weeks ago and has talked with Carter about taking over that ride after Waltrip retires at the end of this season. If Houston doesn’t wind up driving the No. 66, Robby Gordon is another name that could factor in that team’s plans(That’s Racin’)(8-19-2000)
