Ron Hornaday Jr. will own and field a truck for his son, Ronnie Hornaday III, at California Speedway this weekend. The 21-year old made five starts in 1999, with a best finish of 16th at Nazareth Speedway and a 17th finish at Nashville Speedway. Hornaday III had planned to run the ARCA Series in 2000, a move that didn’t turn out as planned as a sponsor deal didn’t pan out. Lucas Oil will sponsor the #94 Chevy truck at Fontana. The Hornaday’s are also expected to break ground in the next few weeks on two 10,000 square ft. race shops, complete with team offices, fitness and weight room and a museum(NOL)(10-23-2000)
