CTS driver, Joe Ruttman was pressed into emergency duty in the BGN garage by his car(truck) owner, Bobby Hamilton. Ruttman was needed to drive the #08 Diet Dr Pepper Chevy of Bobby Hamilton in the BGN Happy Hour practice Friday. Hamilton had not been feeling well, so Hamilton wanted to just make sure that if he got up on Saturday and didn’t feel good, that it would make Ruttman eligible to start the race.(Anniston Star)(2-17-2001)
