Sadler Returns: Hermie Sadler, who is running a limited Winston Cup schedule this year with sponsorship from the Virginia Lottery (#13 Chevy), has entered the Sharpie 500 Winston Cup race scheduled for this weekend at the Bristol Motor Speedway.. Sadler says the additional seat time in a Winston Cup Car will help him tremendously heading into Richmond, the next lottery sponsored event. Sadler is also using the opportunity at Bristol to promote something very close to him and his family, Autism Awareness and Research. Hermie’s youngest daughter, Halie, 3, was diagnosed with Autism in February, and he hopes his family’s story will help people better understand autism. “In the beginning we tried to keep our situation private,” stated Sadler.. “Our only concern was getting Halie the care and support she needed.. But we now feel that she has made a great deal of improvement since February and we want to do what we can to encourage people to help us learn more about Autism.” Hermie and his brother Elliott will both be carrying Autism Awareness Ribbons on their cars this weekend..
