Bud Pole Award: Series champion Jeff Gordon was given a check for $100,000 for winning the Bud Pole Award. He led the series with six poles. Gordon also won the $75,000 Gatorade Front Runner Award for leading the most laps and $76,000 from Tosco for the Official Fuels of NASCAR Award.
